Every trader starts somewhere. This page documents my journey through the markets—the lessons learned, challenges faced, victories earned, and the ongoing pursuit of becoming a consistently profitable futures trader.
This isn’t a story about overnight success.
It’s a story about growth.
Where It All Began
My interest in trading started with a simple question:
Could I learn a skill that offered both freedom and unlimited potential?
Like many traders, I began exploring the financial markets through Forex trading. The idea of analyzing charts, understanding market behavior, and managing risk fascinated me.
What started as curiosity quickly became a passion.
Over time, I invested countless hours studying charts, learning trading concepts, testing strategies, and trying to understand what separates successful traders from those who struggle.
Like many traders, I came into the markets with excitement, ambition, and the belief that success would come much faster than it actually does.
What I quickly discovered was that trading is one of the most demanding personal growth journeys a person can take. The charts were only part of the challenge. Learning discipline, managing emotions, handling losses, and developing consistency proved to be the real work.
Over time, trading became less about making money and more about becoming a better version of myself.

The Reality of Trading
Trading has been one of the most rewarding and challenging pursuits of my life.
The markets have a way of exposing weaknesses quickly.
I’ve experienced:
- Winning streaks
- Losing streaks
- Overconfidence
- Self-doubt
- Frustration
- Breakthrough moments
Every trader talks about strategy.
Far fewer talk about mindset.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that successful trading is often less about finding the perfect setup and more about developing the discipline to execute consistently.
Transitioning to Futures Trading
As my experience grew, I transitioned my primary focus from Forex to Futures trading.
Today I focus primarily on:

Micro E-mini S&P 500
MNQ
Micro E-mini Nasdaq 100
The transparency, liquidity, and structure of the futures markets aligned more closely with the type of trader I wanted to become.
Futures trading provided a fresh opportunity to refine my process and continue building consistency.
The Prop Firm Journey
Another major chapter of my trading journey has been working with prop firms.
Prop firms offer traders the opportunity to access larger amounts of capital while maintaining disciplined risk management standards.
While the path has not always been easy, the experience has taught me valuable lessons about:

- Emotional control
- Following rules
- Long-term thinking
These lessons continue to influence my approach to trading every day.
The Trading Floor Impact
One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been becoming involved with The Trading Floor.
As Head of Customer Support, I’ve had the opportunity to interact with thousands of traders from around the world.
Through those conversations I’ve learned that every trader faces similar challenges:

I’ve also seen firsthand how education, mentorship, and community can accelerate growth.
The Trading Floor has played an important role in my own development as a trader, and many of the insights shared throughout this website are influenced by that experience.

Through more than 18,000 customer interactions and ongoing involvement within the trading community, I’ve seen the same patterns repeat themselves over and over again:

I’ve also seen how the right education, mentorship, and community can dramatically accelerate a trader’s development.
